June Gallery Show: Kelton Lampkin and George Hendricks

Now through July 2nd, we’re proud to display the photographs of George and Kelton in our gallery. Both are Portland natives, and their work focuses on capturing the vibrant and changing landscapes of their hometown.

In the words of the artists:

“Having grown up in and around Portland, I have been immersed in the growth and change of this city throughout the years. I find it incredible to be able to to capture the people and places that make this place what it is. My photography represents the small spaces within a big picture of what Portland can be, and the array of humans that make it up. I started by capturing the assorted landscapes of the PNW, and have more recently dove into urban street photography and portrait style work. I am enthralled with creating unique perspectives in both simple and complex settings, representing a multitude of emotions and feelings.” - George Hendricks

“I’ve been able to see this city go through its fair share of changes over the years. My interest in photography started when I was in high school taking photos for the yearbook and quickly began to take interest in everything surrounding photographs. I primarily shoot landscape and urban street photography because it allows me to get outside and see the world through my lens.” - Kelton Lampkin
